Dragon Knights Manga

Davion, the Dragon Knight, is a durable melee strength hero with a relatively straightforward and yet versatile skill set. He has both an area-of-effect nuke and a lengthy single-target stun, giving him excellent farming and ganking capabilities. Though he has no real escape ability, his Dragon Blood provides. Dragon Knight Dragon Knight trainer is located at the side of the merchant building at Flowerlight town in sleeping forest. You can find him leaning against a wall with a Fairfrozen. Before speaking to the trainer you must have base orderly (max Tespian Elixirs), spear experience, and all Pit Fighter skills.

A Spell Knight is a one handed sword technician that is very strong in close combat and uses combinations of both of Spell Sword Skill and White Magic skill to vanquish his foes.

Dragon Knights weapon of choice is the Glaive that specializes in thrusting and slicing attacks. It is a balanced weapon when it comes to close quarter combat and measurable distance. It is excellent in continuous and charging attacks.

Spell Knight's magic strengthens attack power and strikes over wide areas. Ronan's magic can annihilate enemies and the Glaive's battle abilities is at best when used with a combination of magic spells. A spell knight was the one that was able to defeat the dragon, so it safe to say that the Dragon Knight is the best warrior.

With the advent of the Erudon Weapons, Dragon Knights can unleash the might of Erudon's Glaive, which allows for continous short ranged attacks, further improving their abilities to keep their opponents at bay without any chance to counterattack.

Requirements

It is necessary to be level twenty (20) to be able to participate in Second (2nd) Job Promotion.

+ Jump Attack Ronan jumps up and swings his glaive.

Erudon's Glaive

Dragon Knight's rune gauge fills itself slowly over time. Once the rune bar is completely filled, Ronan can summon Erudon's Glaive by pressing + . While Erudon's Glaive is active, Ronan retains all of his specials and his basic moveset, yet gains a 10% attack boost, two additional attacks, no cooldown for his 'Dragon Dive' and 'Dragon Rush' attacks, and his eyes will turn into a bright skyblue. Once the gauge is emptied, the glaive will disappear. Using a special will temporarily freeze the rune bar. Pressing + again will remove the glaive immediately.

Trivia

  • Before the Erudon Weapons revamp, Holy Inferno originally increased HP regeneration for nearby party members as well as himself for 7 seconds, and also provided Ronan a barrier that reduced all damage received to 1 for 20 seconds or one hit.
  • Before the Erudon Weapons revamp, Dragon Knight's third grade white magic skill was named Arc Breath, in which Ronan summoned a dragon that breathed fire in an arc over a large area.
    • Also in the revamp, Aegis Knight's fourth grade skill was replaced with a skill named Arc Breath.
  • Despite their names, Infinity Sword and Sword Tempest do not involve a sword.
  • The dragon summoned strongly resembles an adult Wyrm Spawn. In addition, Starkiln is capable of summoning one.
  • Although technically a dragon is to be slain to become a Dragon Knight, the job requirements do not include a dragon being killed. Furthermore, the only dragon known up until Gaikoz's Castle is the Red Gorgos of Gorgos' Dungeon, and Ronan is met at the Gorge of Oath, which is beyond Gorgos' Dungeon.
  • A Glaive is a European polearm with a sharp blade at the end.
  • Dragon Knight and Abyss Knight are Ronan's only classes that does not possess a support buff.

Site Review

Dungeons:

  • GB10 – (Rating 8.0/10) DoT on 1st skill and high damage on boss. Also a very high HP unit which can tank boss attacks. However can slow your run due to single target hits.
  • DB10 – (Rating 8.5/10) Good unit if you plan on going left tower then boss. A very reliant unit but slow run. However, if you plan on just completing the run, the he is a good option.
  • NB10 – Not recommended

Raids:

  • R5 – Not Recommended
  • Element Rift Beasts – (Rating 7.0/10) Good tank and damage unit vs Fire, Water and Light Beasts. However he is not necessary to get high clear rating.

ToA: (Not Recommended) Several farmable units outshines him.

PvP: (Rating: 9/10) This unit is a beast in PVP except for Arena Defense where Lushen teams are commonly used. He shines mostly in Guild Wars where he has self-sustain, can tank, and a damage dealer. Guild war usually needs multiple roles and stand alone units like him.

How to Counter

Most speedy wind nukers is a counter for Chow while making sure he gets stunned/crowd-controlled. He can be built in many ways but usually his main stats focused are HP, SPD and ATK. Apply debuffs like def break because his base defense is low, ATK decrease is also a good option to mitigate Chow’s damage.

Other advice:

Amiga workbench 1.3 adf. The purpose of modeling is ultimately the adoption of adequate (ie sound, feasible and implementable) management decisions.

  • Chow requires high quality runes to shine but once runed correctly he is a very effective unit. Awakening bonus gives +15% Crit Rate so you can distribute some stats like HP, SPD and ATK.
  • Make him a speedy unit because he has self sustain and heals 15% of HP at the end of each turn.

Editor’s Note

Chow is one of the few units who can hold ground by himself. He has self-sustain and is immune against unrecoverable effect. When speedy and equipped with Violent set, he can go wild to deal damage while healing himself back to full HP. He is useful in most areas in game, can be a fodder farmer in Faimon Hell, Cairos dungeon unit, Rift Beasts, PVP offence and defense unit. If you summoned him early game, farm for high quality Violent runes as he can be used in farming DB10. From there watch him develop like to a beastly unit to be feared in end-game scenarios.
